Klaar voor de 21ste editie van het International
Puppetbuskersfestival waar we opnieuw poppenspelers uit de hele
wereld tijdens de Gentse Feesten op ons festival mogen
verwelkomen.
Klaar om u te ontvangen in onze zonovergoten binnentuin in de
Trommelstraat of op diverse pleinen in het centrum van Gent.
Klaar om 25 groepen te ontvangen uit 10 verschillende landen
(België, Frankrijk, Nederland, Italië, Chili, Portugal,
Bulgarije, Hongarije, Duitsland, Rusland)
Klaar om alle liefhebbers van figurentheater, groot en klein,
jong en minder jong te laten genieten van bijna 200
voorstellingen gedurende 9 dagen.
Klaar om de Luc Vincentprijs en de Luc Vincentprijs voor Jong
Talent opnieuw te mogen uitreiken aan de figurentheatergroep die
op dit festival de internationale jury kon overtuigen van hun
kunde.
Klaar om al onze jonge talenten de kans te geven zich voor het
eerst te tonen aan een geïnteresseerd publiek. Als organisator
geloven wij dat jong talent een podium moet krijgen waar ze zich
kunnen voorstellen aan welwillende maar toch kritische
toeschouwers en ervaren collega’s uit de hele wereld. We bieden
hen een uniek kader, een uniek publiek, namelijk Uzelf, en de
ruimte om kennis uit te wisselen en op te doen.
En ook de meer dan 60 vrijwilligers staan voor u klaar om u met
open armen te ontvangen en te verwennen met een drankje in onze
oase van rust, de binnentuin van de Trommelstraat 1 (Patershol
Gent).
En ten slotte staan ook een aantal “Bekende Gentenaars” klaar om
de voorstellingen aan elkaar te praten en het beste van zichzelf
te geven.
Daarom, beste bezoeker, nodigen wij u graag uit om samen met ons
voluit te genieten van het 21ste International
Puppetbuskersfestival.

! - Nous sommes prêt !
Pour la 21-ième édition du International Puppetbuskersfestival,
où on accueille des marionnettistes du monde entier pendant les
Fêtes Gantois.
Nous sommes prêt à vous accueillir dans notre cour dans le
Trommelstraat et dans le centre de la ville de Gand.
Nous sommes prêt à accueillir 25 groupes venant de 10 pays
différents (La Belgique, Le Pays-Bas, La France, L’Allemagne,
L’Italie, Le Portugal, Le Chile, La Bulgarie, L’Hongrie et La
Russie)
Nous sommes prêt pour tout le monde qui aime le théâtre des
marionnettes, les grands et les petits, les jeunes et ceux qui
sont moins jeunes. On Vous présente à peu près 200 spectacles
durant 9 jours de festival.
Nous sommes prêt à remettre le Prix Luc Vincent et le Prix Luc
Vincent pour Jeune Talent. Un jury internationale va évaluer
chaque groupe qui participe au festival.
Nous sommes prêt à donner une chance aux jeunes talents pour se
manifester. Ils peuvent se montrer à une publique intéressée.
Dans notre festival ils ont la possibilité de se prouver pour la
première fois devant un public intéressé et internationale.
Comme organisateur on est persuadé que jeune talent mérite plus
qu’ un simple podium.
Ils méritent aussi un public et le contact avec des collègues
internationaux et plus expérimentés.
Plus de 60 volontaires, qui chaque année sont à votre
disposition, sont prêt. Ils vous laissent jouir des shows dans
les circonstances idéales. Ils vous accueillent chaleureusement
dans notre jardin historique, Trommelstraat 1 (Patershol Gent),
où on retrouve aussi un Oasis de paix et d’ambiance agréable. Et
finalement on a aussi des « Gantois illustres» qui sont prêt à
présenter tous les spectacles.

WELCOME - We are ready !
For the 21st edition of the International Puppetbuskersfestival.
This festival welcomes puppeteers from all over the world during
the 10 days of the Ghent Festival.
We are ready to entertain you in our courtyard in de
Trommelstraat and in the centre of the city of Ghent.
We are ready to welcome 25 groups coming from 10 different
countries (Belgium, The Netherlands, Portugal, France, Italy,
Chile, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany and Russia).
We are ready to welcome everybody who likes puppet theater,
great and small, young and young at heart. You can enjoy 200
performances during the 9 days of the festival.
We are ready to hand over the Award Luc Vincent en the Award Luc
Vincent for Young Talent. An international Jury will evaluate
each group that participates to the festival.
We are ready to give chances to “young talent”-groups, who will
perform for the first time before a large public. As organizer
we are convinced that young talent needs more than a simple
stage. They need an enthusiastic audience and the contact with
their older colleagues.
More than 60 volunteers are ready to run the festival so that
you can enjoy the performances in the best circumstances. They
will welcome you in our historical site, Trommelstraat 1
(Patershol Gent) where you can find an oasis of peace and
coziness.
And finally some “celebrities of Ghent” are ready to present all
the groups to you.
